July 17 was a significant milestone for us: the two year anniversary of Rochester LGBTQ+ Together!

What formed as a small online social group during the onset of the pandemic and closure of our local LGBTQ+ community center quickly expanded to virtual programming then in-person programming and events to meet the needs of our Rochester and Monroe County LGBTQIA2S+ community. Additionally, we established Rochester LGBTQ+ Mutual Aid group and The Greater Rochester LGBTQ+ Mutual Aid Fund, as well as the www.Rochester.lgbt website.

I’m incredibly grateful to work with this amazing team, incredibly proud of all that we’ve accomplished for our community, and humbled by all of the amazing community partners we’ve been able to collaborate with so far. We have no plans to slow down and no plans to stop with our vitally important community organizing work to offer educational, socialization, health and wellness, and many more opportunities for individuals all of ages and identities.

We went all out this year to celebrate YOU this Pride season, though our fundraising fell short of our expectations. Now is a great opportunity to send a monetary donation to celebrate our two year anniversary and help our small, grassroots, volunteer-run organization continue into the future. Thank you for your support!

Help us celebrate our 2 year anniversary week and continue this important work. Please consider a donation of $2, $22, or even $222 today! Unlike your large corporate non-profits, every penny given directly supports community. -Braden
