Rochester LGBTQ+ Together always endeavors to make our member and attendee safety our top priority. We have strongly advocated for science-based measures in our health and safety policies, including virtual programming, social distancing, mask wearing, and vaccination (with booster).
To this end, we must continue to adjust our policies to changing science, pandemic data, and increasing vaccination levels. Effective February 25, we no longer require mask wearing at any OUTDOOR programs and events, unless a host venue requires them. They are, however, still strongly encouraged for those who remain unvaccinated/unboosted and those with significant health risk factors. They’re also welcomed for anyone who simply feels safer continuing to wear a mask. Masks will still be required for any INDOOR programs and events, regardless of vaccination status or venue policy.
We plan to routinely review these policies and anticipate further changes in the coming weeks and months.
