We could say a lot of things about today, but to put it simply: love wins, always. Thank you to our friends at Pittsford CommUNITY for standing up for all of the wonderful, intersectional diversity in your community, for creating safe spaces, and for celebrating LGBTQIA2S+ joy. Thank you to the drag performers for holding your ground and moving forward with this beautiful community event, in the face of intense hatred personally directed toward you. Thank you to all of the community members and organizations who came out to shield youth and families from the bigotry and hate with a “Love Wall.” Rochester LGBTQ+ Together will always stand up for and with our community, together.
