Today, we commemorate the Pulse Night of Remembrance, marking the seven year anniversary of the tragic shooting at Pulse nightclub in Orlando, FL on June 12, 2016. As we reflect on the deadliest mass shooting in our nation’s history, we remember those killed and injured – almost all LGBTQIA2S+ people of color – and their families and loved ones. We reaffirm our commitment to advocate for sensible gun control legislation and to fight for a world where all members of the LGBTQIA2S+ community can live happily, authentically, and safely.
